DAVE KARL, Born and raised in the CHICAGO area, the FOURTH of five children, over the course of years starting at a very young age, Dave gained vast experience, and as a result has become a much requested impersonator/etc.
What started out just for kicks at the age of 8 years old impersonating cartoon characters, turned into a full time job later in life.
His mentor was Mel Blanc.
He also learned the guitar very early as well playing songs of Elvis, the Beatles along with other Rock-N-Roll artists.
At age 16 he and his friends would spend a lot of time in the recording studio, cutting 45 records of original songs hoping to make it big!
At age 18 he turned to Country Music.
"This is home for me" he says. The door is wide open with many voices to capture.
"I love impersonating"
"I have approximately 64 different voices and still counting".
Dave also plays Piano and Bass guitar.
In the late 1980's Dave was a member of 'HEARTLAND' a Chicago Country Group where he played keyboard, opening shows for COUNTRY Artists like, Lee Greenwood, Marie Osmond, Ray Price and others.
After an 8 year run with the band, Dave was ready to venture out on his own, by playing various clubs and venues as a single act.
Then, in 2008 he began his Tribute to Kenny Rogers show.
This is his strongest act, because his natural voice is so close to Kenny's...it's uncanny.
Three months after moving to Arizona in 2010 Dave was contacted by "Movie Works" and asked to play the part of Kenny Rogers in a Motion Picture entitled "QUEENS OF COUNTRY" directed by Ryan Page.
There he worked along side Actress "Lizzy Caplan" where
filming was shot in Cave Creek, AZ that same year.
The movie has yet been released.
